For over 100 years our family business produces essential oils and herbal products in the fourth generation. 1912 the foundation stone was laid for the mountain pine distillery „Bergila“, when Johann Niederkofler Senior began with the distillery of cedar pine, arolla pine and mountain pine in Issing, which oil he sold as household remedies.
Franz Niederkofler experienced up close how the family business has grown. Today, four generations later the family Niederkofler carries on „Bergila“ with the same passion. The knowledge of the ancestors is kept with respect for the next generations.
