Solid Shampoo: Clean your hair in an eco-friendly way with this solid shampoo, free of plastic packaging. It gently cleanses with plant-based surfactants and nourishes the hair with organic extracts of nettle and birch. Organic jojoba oil adds shine and smoothness, while 100% organic essential oils leave a mild fragrance. The integrated hemp cord allows for easy hanging and drying.
Solid Shower Care: This refreshing solid shower care contains organic aloe vera extract, argan oil, and wheat germ oil for thorough skin cleansing and care. What is the difference between hair soap and solid shampoo?
Hair soaps are typically made from plant-based fats that are cooked with a lye solution. As a result, soap has a higher pH value, which can irritate sensitive skin or cause dryness. In contrast, solid shampoos do not go through saponification with sodium hydroxide. Instead, all ingredients are simply mixed and then pressed into a mold. This is done with only a fraction of the usual amount of water needed for liquid shampoos. For this reason, solid shampoo bars are highly concentrated and last much longer.
