Mountain pine belongs to the family of pine trees and is a bush with evergreen needles. Mountain pine is growing at a sea level between 1000 and 2700 meters and can grow up to 3 meters high. The higher the mountain pine bush grows the higher is the quality of the essential oil. The mountain pine is under nature conservation and therefore only harvested in cooperation with the forest holding for landscape and meadow preservation.

The mucolytic and anti-inflammatory effect make the mountain pine a natural and effective remedy for the wellbeing of the respiratory tract, eases to cough up and is very recommended for colds. Only 3 drops are needed toghether with an emulgent like a spoon of honey to put in the bath tub and to feel the comfortable effect on the respiratory tract. To solve the mucus from the bronchia and lungs put 3 drops in 2 liters hot water and inhale the steam.
Mountain pine develops a wonderful scent in the sauna and oil burner. It is also recommended to mix some drops with a natural oil and rub on bruises, sprains and muscle strains.
